Introduction
Codingloop built the Expense Tracker app as a free app. This policy explains how the app handles your data.
Data Storage
All data you enter — expenses, accounts, tags, and transaction history — is stored exclusively on your device using a local database. No data is transmitted to any server or third party.
Permissions
The app requests storage access (READ/WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE) solely to allow you to export and import backups of your data. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly share the backup file yourself.
Third-Party Services
The app does not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking services. No third party has access to your data.
Data Security
Your data is stored in a local SQLite database on your device, protected by your device's own security (screen lock, encryption). We do not transmit your data, so there is no risk of interception.
Children's Privacy
This app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
